Dwayne Jones is a rising star in the world of CG art, using his skills to not only create stunning characters but also to increase representation in the animation and gaming industries. Hailing from Nigeria, Jones’ passion for animation and video games fueled his journey into the world of 3D art. However, upon entering the industry, he noticed a significant gap – the lack of well-developed African characters. This realization sparked a determination within him to bridge this gap and showcase the beauty and diversity of the African continent through his art.

Jones, a self-taught artist, honed his craft using Blender, a free and open-source 3D creation suite. His work is characterized by a vibrant and expressive style, reminiscent of beloved Pixar films. He specializes in 3D modeling, rigging, and look development, but his talents extend to character grooming as well. This well-rounded skillset allows him to bring his characters to life, imbuing them with personality and depth.
