About this artwork

For this project, I aimed to enhance my composition and lighting skills with a unique aesthetic. As an African, I value our cultural beliefs, but I was surprised to find few spider-related tales in Yoruba culture. My research revealed that many traditions see spiders as symbols of creativity, patience, and interconnectedness, associated with feminine energy and fate, which became the foundation of my work.
